Directly on Lake Heiterwanger See, you can experience a relaxed camping vacation in its most beautiful form. Far away from traffic noise, with a view of the majestic mountains, it's easy to find peace and quiet. In the midst of the impressive mountain world of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, you will feel in a special way how good it is to let the crystal-clear lake, the fresh air and the healthy nature provide you with energy - in summer and winter alike.
Welcome to have fun, be happy and actively relax at Lake Heiterwanger See on our pitches and campsites! Romantic bays, all-round free access to the lake, the sunbathing lawn with natural shade in the form of beautiful trees, a playground for the little ones.
The campsite on the lake awaits you with suitable facilities and opportunities for swimming, boating, stand-up paddling and much more. The two ships MS Margarethe and MS Wilhelm are ready to take you on a leisurely boat trip across the Heiterwanger See and Plansee lakes. Our hotel restaurant with its inviting sun terrace and the adjacent Wirtshaisl on the lake also await you.

New sanitary facilities
The sanitary building, designed by architect Dietmar Rossmann, offers comfortable shower and sanitary facilities, washing-up facilities and waste disposal stations, as well as space for people to meet. The generously designed building with natural materials is the new focal point and meeting place at the campsite.
Note for day visitors
Visitors may only enter the campsite after prior registration. Please park your car in the large parking lot in front of the site. For the parking fee of € 6,- per day you will need coins or a credit card for the machine.
